The Job This promotional video for a fictional meditation centre was meant to give viewers a feeling for the space before they ever set foot inside. Working from supplied footage, I handled the concept, editing, sound design, and motion graphics.
The challenge was translating stillness into a moving image, a medium that naturally wants to keep moving. I built the edit around the music, letting its pace set the rhythm of each cut so the video breathes rather than rushes.
Creative Direction I wanted the video to feel less like an advertisement and more like the first few minutes of a meditation: an invitation to slow down, breathe, and arrive. Sound carried as much weight as image in guiding the viewer's attention.
duties: creative direction, editing, sound design, motion graphics
