Katie is a multidisciplinarty artist based on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. She primarily works in photography and video. She also does graphic and new media design. She excels at creative direction, concept initiation, and, overall, creating a mood.

Her photo and video work is framed in an aesthetic that expresses the ethereal and intangeable nuances of the locations, people and objects being photographed. She breaks into a shared memory, transporting the viewer into the uncanny, a scene that is at once familiar yet unknown.

Her design work is concise, clear, and elegant, accented by playfulness and pop culture.
