The Job This graphic design project set out to create an infographic of a mostly unquantifiable state: ~overwhelming emotion~.

Creative Direction I wanted to break down the usual idea of an infographic and choose a concept that wouldn't normally be associated with a step-by-step visual guide. What interested me was interpreting an intangible feeling such as overwhelming emotion through relatable yet whimsical visual icons and representations.

There is an elevator going from 0 to 100, a mountain that peaks at the top, and then an overhanging crevice that drops into nothingness. Strewn about are descriptive texts and helpful insights into emotional states the viewer might relate to. They are placed on the page so the viewer can grab on to them as needed, like life preservers of advice and insight.
