The Job: This graphic design project attempted to create an infographic of a mostly unquantifiable state ~overwhelming emotion~ .

Creative Direction : I wanted to break down the normal idea of an infographic and think of a concept that wouldn't normally be associated with a step by step visual guide. What interested me was trying to interpret an intangible feeling such as overwhelming emotion into relatable yet whimsical visual icons and representations:

There is an elevator going from 0 to 100, a mountain that peaks to the top, and then an overhanging crevice that drops into nothingness. Strewn about are depictive texts and helpful insights into the emotional states that the viewer/reader/user might be able to relate to; they are placed on the page in ways that the viewer can grab on to as they require it, like life preservers of advice and insight.
